We built an 8-bit arcade style game to get world hunger on the table at the G4 Summit.
adam&eveDDB approached us with a very unique challenge. Charity fundraising, traditionally reliant on shock tactics needed a new way of engaging with a socially active audience.
The brief was simple: Get the internet talking about World Hunger.
The explosion of online activism has resulted in a disengaged audience, ignoring daily requests to sign multiple meaningless petitions. A consortium of charities, including Save The Children needed to break through the noise with meaningful, shareable content.
We built an 8-bit arcade style game with simplicity and accessibility in mind. The game play is basic, fun and addictive while the responsive platform ensured anyone can play anywhere.
Combining these factors with some very prominent social media buttons ensured the 'Enough Food For Everyone If' campaign quickly spread through the internet. Within a few days of the game’s launch, Enough Food For Everyone If hit its target of 20k petition sign ups.
